USAGE PRECAUTIONS
• Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
• When handling the battery, always wear gloves and face protection.
• In case of contact with eyes and / or skin, rinse with plenty of water and request
medical care.
• If electrolyte spills, wash with plenty of water and baking soda.
• Observe and follow the safety warnings on the battery.
• Before installing a battery, verify that it is the correct type for the
installation requirements.
WARRANTY
REDMAY SA guarantees TROJAN batteries, due to proven manufacturing defects, only to the original purchaser, for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. A malfunctioning battery is not necessarily the result of a manufacturing problem and should be checked.
At the time of requesting warranty service, the proof of purchase must be provided, and the additional information on its installation and maintenance that REDMAY SA requests. REDMAY SA may send the information to TROJAN BATTERY COMPANY for resolution. In case of warranty application, the battery will be repaired or replaced with a similar one. If replacement is performed, the replacement battery will complete the warranty period of the replaced one. REDMAY SA will not be responsible for expenses of transportation, installation, recharging, tests of the electrical system and losses in the use of equipment.
EXCLUSIONS
• Negligent and / or inappropriate use.
• Incorrect electrolyte levels in batteries with access to replacement (in case of
need for replacement use only distilled or demineralized water).
• Damaged terminals.
• Improper storage.
• Box and / or lid damaged.
• Foreign objects and / or products inside.
• Unloaded or overloaded.
• Prolonged operating temperatures exceeding 30 ° C (the warranty period will be
reduced 30% for every 5 ° C increase).
• Applications that exceed 50% depth of discharge (end of life of a
battery, which is estimated to have been caused by its charge / discharge cycle corresponding to its specifications, will not be considered a defect).
